James Fuchs is professional pianist, guitarist, singer/songwriter, arranger and composer for over twenty-five years. Born in New York City in 1967, James and his family made the move to Miami in 1968, where he spent the next twenty-one years until his move out west to Los Angeles in 1990. James comes from a very musical family and is the son of a semi-operatic theater vocalist, Veronica Fuchs and maestro Peter Fuchs.

James has written numerous original songs and compositions for concert and theatrical productions. He is experienced in recording and engineering as well. He has toured with such acts as Macy Gray, Jerry Cantrell and Teri Nunn of Berlin.

Along with writing two original musicals, Figaro’s Divorce (Figgy) and Freedom Song (co-writer), James has composed Jewish liturgical music for temples, choirs and cantorial soloists. James recently explored a new avenue in children’s music where he wrote an album all about colors for preschoolers.

James’ love of classical, jazz and popular music has inspired him to infuse these styles into his own creative work. He is truly a passionate musician and performer and loves to share and express music. James lives happily in Los Angeles with his wife, Lara.
